The main objective of this symposium is to promote the scientific and technical contacts as well as the exchange of information and knowledge on specific topics in the mechanical and material fields. Graduate candidates and newly graduated doctors are particularly encouraged to come and present their scientific research. Industrial participation will be greatly appreciated.

A thorough discussion will follow each presentation.
